Installation near Furnace Creek, Death Valley, California. Approximately 37 strands of optical fiber were placed in a dry wash and lit by a custom battery powered illuminator. The exposure of this photo is about 30sec, and significant streaking of stars is evident. The rising moon was just past full, lighting the scene nicely. Installation assistance from Kathleen Fernald.
